Basics of Anatomy provides an introduction to the anatomical language, planes of movement and major concepts of the skeletal and muscular systems as they relate to movement. In depth looks will be taken at the spine, its articulations and the hip and shoulder regions. The course includes an outline and hands on experience.
As a former teacher-of-teachers at Power Pilates, Enja was the go-to person for injuries and pathologies. She developed a corresponding, day-long continuing education workshop which covered over 70 injuries and conditions. Enja was also the main Basics of Anatomy teacher in NY State, a course required to enter the comprehensive Pilates teacher program.
